“User” means any person or entity accessing or using the Platform or Services.

3. Informational Nature of Services
Ireland Votes provides electoral, polling, political, statistical, and analytical information for informational, educational, journalistic, and research purposes.
Nothing published on the Platform constitutes legal advice, financial advice, electoral instruction, political endorsement, or official governmental guidance.
Electoral projections, polling analysis, swing calculations, forecasts, and statistical modelling may involve estimation, interpretation, methodological assumptions, incomplete datasets, or evolving information.
Users remain solely responsible for independently verifying information before relying upon it.
4. Data Sources & Licensing
Ireland Votes may incorporate or display information originating from official electoral authorities, public bodies, polling organisations, media outlets, public archives, statistical providers, and third-party licensors.
Certain Content, constituency boundaries, maps, polling figures, graphics, logos, and informational materials may remain subject to copyright, database rights, licensing obligations, attribution requirements, or intellectual property protections belonging to their respective owners.
Ireland Votes does not claim ownership over official electoral results, publicly released polling data, or externally sourced factual datasets unless expressly stated otherwise.
All Ireland Votes branding, Platform design, interface systems, proprietary visualisations, written analysis, formatting structures, custom calculations, and presentation methodologies remain the intellectual property of Ireland Votes unless otherwise indicated.
5. Permitted Use
Users may access and use the Platform solely for lawful personal, educational, journalistic, academic, informational, or research purposes.
Users must not:
• reproduce, scrape, mirror, bulk-download, republish, or commercially exploit Content without permission;
• attempt to interfere with, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or compromise Platform systems or infrastructure;
• use automated systems, bots, crawlers, or data extraction tools except where expressly permitted;
• misrepresent Ireland Votes data, branding, or analysis as official governmental or electoral authority output;

To the fullest extent permitted under Irish law, Ireland Votes disclaims all warranties, representations, and guarantees, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted service.
Ireland Votes does not warrant that:
• datasets or results will be error-free;
• polling or analytical models will accurately predict outcomes;
• Services will remain continuously available;
• defects or inaccuracies will be corrected immediately.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Ireland Votes and its operators, founders, affiliates, contributors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, reputational, economic, or data-related loss or damage arising from:
• use of or reliance upon the Platform;
• inaccuracies or omissions in Content;
• Service interruptions or downtime;
• polling projections, electoral forecasts, or analytical interpretations;
• third-party services, external links, or sourced materials.
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful under Irish law.

The Platform may contain links to external websites, services, media organisations, polling providers, public authorities, or third-party platforms.
Ireland Votes does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, policies, or security of third-party websites.
Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
Ireland Votes may process certain technical, analytical, or operational data in connection with use of the Platform and Services.
Such processing may include, without limitation:
• server logs and security monitoring;
• analytics and performance metrics;
• cookies or similar technologies;
• communications submitted by Users.
Ireland Votes processes personal data in accordance with applicable Irish and European Union data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

• engages in unauthorised scraping, automated extraction, or misuse of Content;
• creates risk, liability, or operational disruption for Ireland Votes or its Users.
Ireland Votes may take such action with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect the integrity, security, or operation of the Platform.
12. User Submissions
